LAS is the collective voice for Scotland’s literature and languages and we aim to raise the volume of the sector louder than ever before. We advocate on behalf of LAS members and the literature and languages sector, representing their interests to key policymakers, including Scottish Government, Local Authorities and Creative Scotland.

Our Writers’ Advisory Group is made up of five published writers living and working in Scotland. With writer organisations already active in our membership, the aim is to further strengthen the advice to our Board from a diverse and inclusive writing community.
