Calling Writers in Scotland

LAS are asking writers based in Scotland to tell us about their experiences making a living (or not) as a writer, by completing a short, anonymous survey about income, rights and other conditions.

Please help us spread the word by sharing the link with the writers in your network – including self-published writers, emerging writers, established writers, those who are just starting out and those who have been splattered with ink for many years — and completing it yourself.

The survey will close in early 2026.
