Founded in 2008, Fringe by the Sea is a not-for-profit, 10-day multi-arts festival in North Berwick. From its roots as a small community event, it has grown into one of Scotland’s most celebrated festivals, contributing over £11 million to the local economy.

We believe the arts can unite people, helping bridge gaps and address issues like isolation and rural deprivation.
