Find a Book Festival is back!

We are proud to represent a nation of readers and to celebrate the many ways in which our members bring books and writing to life across Scotland and beyond.

As part of our pledge to support the UK’s National Year of Reading 2026, Literature Alliance Scotland has brought back the Find a Book Festival feature to our website, to highlight the amazing variety of book and literary festivals happening across Scotland in 2026 (and future years). 

We appreciate your support in ensuring our list of book festivals is as complete and up-to-date as possible. If you spot any errors or absences, please let us know.

We are also giving a new home for the Scottish Book Festivals Network (SBFN), which brings together the people who run and programme Scotland’s literary festivals. If you’re interested in joining the SBFN then get in touch.
