Register now for LAS Sector Day in Glasgow 22/04/26

Registration is now open for our annual Sector Day, held this year at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow, 10:00-16:30 on Wednesday 22 April. It’s a chance to come together with other literature professionals from across the sector in Scotland to share good news, find ways through challenges and have your say on priorities for LAS programming for the next 12 months.

We welcome individuals working for Member organisations, non-member organisations and freelancers at our Sector Day but places are limited: please register your interest by 13th April.

Thanks to support from the National Lottery through Creative Scotland’s Open Fund for Organisations, attendance at the Sector Day in 2026 is free of charge, and will include a light lunch. Additional catering is available at the Mitchell Library’s cafe if you wish to purchase refreshments. 

We have a small number of £50 travel and access bursaries available, and will prioritise these for individuals who have further to travel within Scotland to attend, who face higher costs to attend relating to caring responsibilities, chronic health conditions or disabilities, or who are freelance.
